About Us

Connecting Pulmonary Professionals.
Advancing Respiratory Care.

The San Diego Pulmonology Society (SDPS) is a physician-led professional organization dedicated to advancing the field of pulmonary medicine through education, collaboration, and the exchange of scientific knowledge.

Founded by Tim Morris, MD, the Society was established to bring together pulmonologists, critical care specialists, researchers, and other healthcare professionals who share a commitment to improving respiratory health and patient outcomes.

Rooted in San Diego's vibrant medical and scientific community, SDPS provides a forum for meaningful professional connections, discussion of emerging research, and the exchange of clinical expertise. Through educational programs, scientific presentations, and networking opportunities, the Society seeks to bridge the gap between the latest advances in respiratory medicine and everyday clinical practice.
